In the spirit of St. Clare of Assisi, we invite you to join us in our Clare Prayer Shawl Ministry. A prayer shawl embraces and comforts the wearer with the love and prayers of the maker and the faith community. Recipients of the shawls may be people who are undergoing medical procedures, who are grieving, or who need to feel the love and support of the community during a difficult time in their life. The Prayer Shawl Ministry also makes shawls for family members of Fallen Soldiers. Meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Members meet at the noon Mass. After Mass, members eat lunch (bring your own), and knit or crochet until 2:30pm.
